Dr. Daniel Strack

Originally from Horseheads, NY, I fell in love with the game of golf after playing two years on the high school varsity team. This led to a four year collegiate career at Nazareth College of Rochester in Pittsford, where I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Pursuing a rigorous degree with kinematics and anatomical principles at its core, I began to appreciate the game of golf for the physical challenge it poses to all players.

Immediately following my graduation from Nazareth, I searched for a way to combine my knowledge as a therapist with the game of golf. This led me to the Titleist Performance Institute, which poses a simple, yet refined philosophy:

"TPI does not believe in one way to swing a club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. But, we do believe there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do."

Getting better at the game of golf does not mean you have to spend endless time and money at the range or on lessons. Trying to mimic the swing of a professional golfer or your buddy that has a better handicap than you will only lead to frustration and inconsistency. Each golfer has unique physical characteristics and requires an individual assessment of their physical abilities to determine their most efficient swing pattern and prevent injury.
