Dr. Steven Lorick
Steven Lorick, EdD, MBA, is recognized by the Titleist Performance Institute, Nike Golf, the PGA of America, and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a subject matter expert in golf performance. Dr. Lorick is the CEO of HyBridZone and he holds twenty certifications in golf and fitness education. He is the creator of the NASM Golf Fitness workshop and the co-author of the Leadbetter Golf Performance certification. Additionally, Dr. Lorick is a member of the national faculty for the United States Sports Academy and he consults for athletes at the professional, junior, collegiate, and amateur levels. Dr. Lorick served as a golf performance expert for PGA Teacher of the Year David Leadbetter and World Golf Hall of Famer Se Ri Pak.
The military veteran received the Congressional Award of Special Recognition as a member of the United States Presidential Escort. Previously, Dr. Lorick served as the president of Leadbetter Golf Performance and he excelled as the CEO of the Hawaii Council on Physical Activity and Nutrition to oversee fitness programs for schools in the state of Hawaii. He also served as the head golf coach for the men's and women's golf teams for Hawaii Pacific University and as the director of golf performance at the Waialae Country Club. He was bestowed the Community Leadership Award by the President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition for his contributions in golf and fitness.
Dr. Lorick earned a doctor of education from the University of Southern California with research in golf performance teaching pedagogy and methodology. He obtained a dual master of business administration from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, the Walsh School of Foreign Service, and the ESADE Business and Law School in Europe. Dr. Lorick graduated with honors from the Golf Academy of America where he completed an associate of applied business and he was designated as a Top 100 Alumni from more than 11,000 graduates since 1974.
