Charley talks about his Shoulder program and how an injury to his ankle actually helped his golf swing.
Shoulder Workout that can be done anytime with or without weight.
Starting with light weight dumbbells:
- Rock the baby to warm up the shoulder blades.
- Back and forth exercises to help load the joint.
- Side raises
- T press
- External rotation
- Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down
Ankle rehab and workout
- Discussion of inversion ankle sprain with Dr. Rose and Charley Hoffman and how it affects you range of motion and how it can actually affect your hips.
- Hands between knees for ankle rolls to help strengthen and improve range of motion in the ankle.
- Demonstration of why the ankle needs to be able to roll through impact for better ball striking.
- Heel raise and why the knee can get involved and hurt your normal working motion and create another injury.
- Wobble board for balance and range of motion, alternating feet.
- Wobble board side to side to help strengthen an injured ankle.
- Dyna Disc stability training with eyes closed.
- Air X foam pad for additional balance training while performing golf swing motion.
