I was looking for some information on a push slice this is my biggest problem the ball starts straight but then drifts right some times way right. My swing flaws are a really flat backswing plane and sliding hips in downswing could these cause a push slice i have sorted out my sliding by doing the drills on this site but just cant get my club shaft to point half way between my feet and the ball at the half way point in my backswing it always points way out side the ball any help would be appreciated

Go to the swing section and review the early extension swing fault.  If your hips are sliding and the club is that flat then you could also be driving your hips toward the ball which will cause the push slice. The push slice is caused by the club coming too much from in to out with the face open.  You have to maintain your body angles better during your swing, if you are swinging into out but it is fading then you need to feel like you are turning the knuckles of your left hand down to the ground from the top of your backswing.  This will square the face and create a draw.  See the attached drills posted with this question to the web.
