View My SWING:

The view my swing capture viewer is designed for you to be able to capture video of your golf swing on your computer from your video camera.  It allows you to save your swings on your hard drive and review your progress using the graphic tools available. 

To capture  golf swings simply plug a camera with firewire capability into the applicable firewire port on your computer using a firewire cable. Then power up your video camera and play the video.  You should see your video in the display window as in the picture above.

To capture a swing simply click the capture button on the bottom of the screen which is the same as the play button and click the stop button when you are done. The captured swing will be displayed in the viewer window. You can play the swing at normal speed by pressing the play button or at half speed by changing the play speed function on the left hand side of the screen.

You can also control the video with the slide bar underneath the viewer, by clicking on the slide bar and holding the left mouse key down.

Draw function:

If you would like to draw a line on the screen to use for analysis, simply select the color and width of the line on the left hand menu.  Then to draw a line simply hold the left mouse button down in the video window where you want the line to start and then drag it across the screen until you highlight what you need and let go.  The line will appear on screen during video playback.  To delete your last graphic drawing select the delete key or to delete all drawings select the clear all key.

Save a Swing:

To save a swing simply click the save swing button and choose the folder you wish to save the swing in. 

Open File:

To open a swing stored on your computer simply click on the open swing button and select the swing you would like to review.

This swing viewer is best used with a My TPI subscription.  The Swing section gives you the tools to check your swing yourself and find out what if any swing faults you may have.  You can also take a step by step swing evaluation using the swing viewer as a tool to answer questions pertaining to your golf swing.  This will help us build a customize swing drill and exercise program that will target your specific needs.

Troubleshooting:

If you can't get the swing viewer to work then follow the prompts to download the latest direct X application.  If you are still having problems then make sure your firewire camera is connected and turned on.
