Sports Performance Specialist, 20+ year career developing and refining his knowledge and practical application of functional exercise as it relates to sports performance. PGA, FMS Certified, TPI Level 3 Fitness, Junior Level 3, Biomechanics Level 2, Coaching Level 2 along with K-Motion Biomechanics, Paul Chek Biomechanics for Golf certifications to his educational background of exercise science from Elon University. His clients include aspiring high school & collegiate athletes as well as PGA, LPGA, NHL, MLB, NBA and NFL players. Having been a Division I baseball player and a winner a PGA Sanctioned events, he has an unique perspective as to how train and coach athletes to perform to compete and win. Having coached over 20,000+ hours has helped Roger understand his client’s goals and objectives, to create a plan as to how to make them happen.
Along with lectures in the field of sports performance development for aspiring junior athletes to competitive adults. He has served as a consultant to many players and universities on golf, hockey, football and baseball performance enhancement. He has written many articles and is in the process of writing his first book (The Best Golfer Ever Built).
Founder and operator of The Golf Performance Center, Inc. and APZ360 in Ridgefield, CT state of the art, integrating the best practices for physical performance with technologies used for physical and mechnical assessments. He uses a system that he created based on what he has found to be the “5 Elements of Success”, 1-An athletes’ desire to improve 2-Scientific based coaching (understanding through science) 3-Physical Performance and Nutrition 4-Mental Performance and Capabilities 5- Equipment(having proper equipment for task).
