British Open Preview - Long Putts

Although Muirfield has relatively small greens compared with other Open courses. The run off areas around the greens will still force players to bring out the putter from off the green creating long putting situtations. 

The unrelenting wind can also play havock on putting and it is important for players to modify their setup slightly when they encounter windy conditions, especially on long putts. Check out some of the other long putting drills to the right of the article.
