Christopher Wickel
Chris Wickel, DPT, OCS is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and Titleist Performance Institute Medical Level 3 certified professional who specializes in helping golfers move better, reduce pain, and play longer with confidence.
Chris earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with distinction from Arcadia University in 2011 and spent over 15 years in orthopedic practice. His work emphasizes precise movement assessment, patient education, and progressive capacity building to address the mobility, stability, and motor control limitations that commonly drive both pain and swing breakdown.
As a TPI Medical Level 3 professional, Chris performs comprehensive golf-specific movement and swing assessments to identify physical limitations that influence swing mechanics and injury risk. Rather than teaching the golf swing itself, Chris focuses on improving the body’s ability to support it, reducing the need for compensation and helping golfers swing more freely. This makes his work especially effective for golfers over 40 who want to reduce pain, move better, and keep playing without constantly managing aches, stiffness, or recurring injuries.
Chris is the founder of Another 18 Golf, a digital coaching practice helping golfers over 40 reduce pain, move better, and keep playing for decades through remote testing, movement assessment, and ongoing coaching.
Chris is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the McKenzie Institute, and the Titleist Performance Institute.
