John Van Vleet

John Van Vleet is the PGA Professional and General Manager at Preston Golf and Country Club in Preston, ID. John has served on the Rocky Mountain Section Board of Directors for 14 years.

He was named the Golf Professional of the Year in 2007 and 2018 and Senior Player of the Year in 2024. John is a Certified PGA Professional in Executive Management. John has played on ten Carter Cup teams for the RMSPGA and qualified for 2 PGA Professional Championships and 3 Senior PGA Professional Championships. He currently holds the course records at Rupert Country Club(61) and Preston Golf and Country Club(58). John played collegiate golf at Utah State University. He is also the coach of the Preston High School boys and girls golf teams.

John loves to help golfers achieve their goals both on and off the golf course. He is available for both private and group instruction. He has robust junior golf and women's programs.
