Pete Burton

When I was 5 years old I received my very first set of golf clubs as a Christmas present. My grandfather took me out on the course and started teaching me the game of golf and I was instantly hooked! From that moment on I was always wanting to play and learn as much about the game of golf as I possibly could. I started competing in Idaho Junior Golf Association tournaments throughout Idaho and played all four years of high school on the varsity golf team. I won my first tournament my junior year of high school and then won four tournaments my senior year. My senior year I was voted the most outstanding golfer of the year.

After high school I played for fun and was a member of several men’s associations. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and worked in education for approximately 12 years.

In 2018 I decided to turn professional and spend the remainder of my life teaching the game of golf to others. I was elected to full PGA Membership in August of 2021.

The Titleist Performance Institute has given me the knowledge and understanding of how the body works with the golf swing. I look forward to helping golfers of all ages and ability levels accomplish their goals and make their games more enjoyable.
