Mark started the game while growing up in Louisiana hitting golf balls in the fields with his father. After receiving a degree from Louisiana Tech University he served in the United States Air Force where he started playing golf professionally throughout Asia.
After returning to the United States in 1989 Mark started in the golf business centering on teaching/coaching then becoming a member of the PGA of America in 1999. Over 30 years Mark has worked in all areas of the golf business. Starting with cleaning golf cars then Teaching Professional, Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf Instruction at America’s Top 100 Facilities and Club Fitters. Coaching all abilities in golf, from the beginner that has never touched a golf club to the professional tournament player throughout America. As an Air Force Veteran it is important to utilize the game of golf to improve the lives of our Veterans and returning War Veterans utilizing programs such as PGA HOPE and PGA REACH through the PGA of America.
Mark has and continues to invest in the youth of America through the great game of golf. Promoting the game of golf throughout the schools of America while providing quality junior programs is an important part of his career. Mark has managed over 12 high school golf teams while coaching several school teams himself during his career. He has developed specialized learning programs at such notable facilities as the KenMont/KenWood camps, one our nation’s oldest stayover camps in America being established in 1924.
