Dr. Luke Deckard

Dr. Luke Deckard is the owner of Back9PT & Performance, a golf-specific physical therapy and performance business operating out of Persimmon Ridge and Oxmoor Country Club. He is also a PT for the LPGA and Epson Tours traveling with them several times throughout the year.

He completed a residency in Sports Medicine in 2020 at Houston Methodist and completed his Orthopedic Manual Fellowship through the Institute for Athlete Regeneration in 2023 placing him in the top1% of PTs in the United States. He is also trained in trigger point dry needling and is a golf fitness specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky in 2018 and his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science in 2015 from Western Kentucky University.

He enjoys staying active himself by participating in a variety of sports and outdoor activities. Luke has a passion for treating athletes of all ages and helping them return to their desired sport.
