Ray Layug
Ray is a graduate of George Washington University's DPT program, and has received his BS in Kinesiology & Exercise/Nutritional Sciences from San Diego State University. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Ray takes great passion in helping individuals recover from injuries and maximize their quality of life. Pulling from his experience treating a variety of populations (orthopedics, neurological, vestibular/concussion, pediatrics, and work conditioning), Ray has found his niche with sports rehabilitation.
Ray has treated individuals and athletes on all sides of the sports spectrum from amateur to professional. He has worked with individuals of all major sports including football, hockey, basketball, ballet, and soccer. Ray believes golf stands as one of, if not, the most technical sports of today. In many instances, there is high potential not only for growth in performance, but also understanding how to tackle golf-specific injuries. His philosophy is that your goals are paramount, regardless if you are a pro or a regular Joe. Ray can help you understand how your physical presentation can make or break your swing, as well as provide insight in how to last long in the sport of golf.
In his leisure time, Ray enjoys traveling, surfing, weightlifting, playing the guitar/ukulele, and keeping up with the latest sport science literature. He is a southern California native.
