Dr.Blake McClure
Dr. Blake is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studied Exercise and Sports Science. While at UNC, he had the unique experience of being part of the UNC’s bass fishing team where he competed against other universities throughout the United States. After completing his undergraduate studies, he relocated to St. Louis Missouri and attended Logan College of Chiropractic where he obtained a Master’s in Sports Science and Rehabilitation as well as his Doctorate of Chiropractic. While completing his masters, Dr. Blake was able to work with multiple high level D1, NHL, MLB and NFL players.
Beyond his academic education, Dr. Blake has done multiple continued education courses with a focus on functional movement and how that can impact performance, activities of daily life as well as bodily structure. He is certified in Active Release Full Body (ART), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR) and TMD (Jaw Dysfunction) evaluation and treatment. Also, as a lifelong golfer Dr. Blake has pursued further certification through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and is Level 2 Medical certified to treat golf specific injury, as well as, evaluate an athlete’s physical presentation and determine how it may impact their golf swing.
When Dr. Blake isn’t in the clinic, he can be found somewhere outdoors hunting, fishing, golfing, running or spending time with his wife, Carly, and their labradoodle, Remi.
