As a coach with a hybrid bachelor's degree in fitness and wellness, Austin is dedicated to helping people improve their performance and prevent injuries through better health. With over 10 years of experience in sports performance and corporate wellness, he is driven by his passion for working with individuals to help them rebuild their physical capabilities.
Austin graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Fitness and Wellness, and a minor in Biology and Health/Wellness Coaching. He holds certifications including CSCS, FRC, TPI Level 1 & 2, and EXOS XFS and XPS. He is also certified in Red Cross CPR and First Aid.
Austin has experience as an Exercise Physiologist and Sports Performance professional at Sensei Porcupine Creek in Rancho Mirage, California, where he manages the end-to-end guest experience, from consultations to post-stay sessions. He also worked as a Fitness Practitioner at Sensei Lanai, Four Seasons Resort, where he conducted personal assessments for high-profile guests and professional athletes. Prior to that, Austin was a Performance Coach at EXOS, working with Google and Intel, where he led health promotion programs and educational seminars on topics like stress reduction and physical health. He also coordinated a study on COVID-19 as a lead research interventionist.
