John D'Amico is a physical therapist and certified athletic trainer with over 25 years of geriatric out-patient Physical Therapy practice experience and over 20 years of experience in the golf fitness field.

As owner of Golf Fitness Edge in Naples, Florida, John specializes in resolving the root cause of the physical problems that are common to middle age and senior clients and returning those athletes to optimal performance.

He holds the following Titleist Performance Institute golf fitness certifications: Medical Professional 3, Golf Biomechanics 2 and Junior Golf Fitness 3, Fitness 2, and Power Coach 2. John is an assistant instructor for the Titleist Performance Institute’s Level 1 Golf Fitness Certification course.

John works with both playing professionals and amateurs of all ages. He has significant experience working with golfers who have undergone hip, knee and shoulder surgery as well as golfers recovering from low back pain and surgery.

His case study "Return to Golf following left total hip replacement in a right handed golfer" was published in the North American Journal of Sports Physical Therapy.

John has lectured nationally on a variety of older athlete topics including presentations at The World Golf Fitness Summits in 2008, 2010 and 2018, Perform Better Functional Summit 2013, 2021, T.P.I. Fit to WIN Stage at the 2015,16,17,18,19,20 at the PGA Merchandise Show.

John has been selected as a Golf Digest Top 50 Golf Fitness Professional In America both in 2017- 2018, 2019-2020 and 2022-2023

John's mission is to not only physically prepare golfers for their on course future but also to prepare them for life into their senior years off the course.
