Joshua Ubbes

Dr. Joshua Ubbes was born and raised in southwestern Ohio. Participating in sports was a major part of his life growing up. As a third generation gymnast in the family, he competed at a high level and was an Ohio state champion for his age group at 12 years old. His sports participation turned to golf and tennis through high school, two sports he continues to be passionate about today.
Dr. Josh obtained his bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He valued his undergraduate education, as it focused on biomechanical studies and physiology of the human body.
Dr. Josh graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2021 with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Life’s chiropractic philosophy of vitalism had a great impact on his foundation of beliefs. “Our bodies work hard to express health, to maintain health, and to recover from illnesses or other conditions that threaten our health.” He believes that in an era of pharmaceutical crisis in our country, there is no better time to provide drug-free rehabilitation for musculoskeletal conditions, with positive outcomes backed by science.
Dr. Josh targets patients recovering from sports-related injuries by combining chiropractic techniques, soft tissue therapies, corrective exercise, and functional rehabilitation. His approach draws on a variety of methods such as Functional Movement Screens, Myofascial Release, Kinesiology Taping, and other evidence-based techniques. He uses the foundational framework from the Titleist Performance Institute to ensure his golf clients are getting updated and cutting edge treatment protocols. He makes patient education a priority, ensuring that each individual understands their prognosis and takes an active role in their recovery. His tailored process promotes faster healing, long-term results, and improved performance for every patient.
