Dr. Steven Lorick
Dr. Steven Lorick is recognized by the Titleist Performance Institute, Nike Golf, the PGA of America, Technogym, and the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a subject matter expert in golf performance. He served as a golf performance expert for World Golf Hall of Famer Se Ri Pak and PGA Hall of Fame Professional David Leadbetter.
Dr. Lorick is the CEO of HyBridZone, a sports performance and education consulting company started in Hawaii which specializes in golf fitness. He holds more than twenty advanced certifications in golf and fitness education; notably, Dr. Lorick is the former COO of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, president of Leadbetter Golf Performance, and a master instructor for NASM where he created the Golf Fitness Workshop.
With deep roots planted in Hawaii, Steven excelled as the CEO of the Hawaii Council on Physical Activity and Nutrition to promote fitness in over 173 schools. Dr. Lorick also served as the head golf coach for the men's and the inaugural women's golf teams at Hawaii Pacific University. Additionally, he taught golf fitness workshops as the director of golf performance at the Waialae Country Club. For his contributions in golf and fitness, Dr. Lorick was bestowed the Community Leadership Award by the President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition.
Dr. Lorick earned a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California (USC) with research in golf performance. He obtained a dual Master of Business Administration from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, the Walsh School of Foreign Service, and the ESADE Business School in Europe. He graduated with honors from the Golf Academy of America where he completed an Associate of Applied Business in teaching and he was appointed to the National Faculty by the United States Sports Academy.
Dr. Steven Lorick is a military veteran merited a Congressional Award as a former member of the U.S. Presidential Escort.
